Friday Favorites : That Color!

The current color I'm obsessed with is this kind of mint green light blue... in short that color!
It reminds me of spring, flowers and little birds ..and oh! however it is snowing! Well...yes! Maybe winter is coming again and again and again!
Anyway we can wear cute springy thing to feel warmer!

This bag is cute but I think also quite smart and stylish.

The Travel Series

One of the most scary place where I've been it's Patarei Prison in Tallin, Estonia.Me and my boyfriend went in Tallin in 2011 and walking by the sea we found this old building. It wasn't on the guide book so we asked to the old ( and when I said old I mean oooold) estonian lady on the entrance. She said something in russian and I don't know how but we understood that to visit the building was 2€. Absolutely we didn't know what to expect and we found this! Hope you like the pictures!
Here you can find some information about the prison! It was used until 2004! Insane!

Vegan Cupcakes

During the weekend I decided to bake some cupcakes, I went for a classic one, chocolate and vanilla frosting.
The recipe come from the book "Vegan Cupcakes take over the world" by Isa Chandra Moskowitz and Terry Hope Romero.

Down below I've quoted the recipe and the directions from the book.
Ingredients :
1 cup soy milk
1 tsp. apple cider vinegar
1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup canola oil (I used colza oil)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1/3 cup cocoa powder
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt

Prepare the cupcakes:

Preheat oven to 350°F (200 C° circa) and line a muffin pan with paper liners.Whisk together the soy milk and vinegar in a large bowl, and set aside for a few minutes to curdle. Add the sugar, oil, vanilla extract, and other extract, if using, to the soy milk mixture and beat until foamy. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Add in two batches to wet ingredients and beat until no large lumps remain (a few tiny lumps are OK).Lightly spray the liners with cooking spray and pour batter into liners, filling 3/4 of the way. Bake 18 to 20 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Transfer to a cooling rack and let cool completely.

Thrift store findings

Hi everybody! What's up?
Here four things I've bought at the thrift shop last week.
I've already worn the floral shirt and I've received a lot of compliments! And I paid only 2,50€ for it! What a bargain!
Well about the sweater, I like it very much but maybe it's a bit too 80's, ok nothing it's too 80's I know! I'll try to wear it in some ways!

Last but not least these two little pins I've bought from an english man, he sell a lot of different things, some are really weird! But these pins look adorable. I don't know what "NUPE" is, anyone can help me?

However have a nice thursday!
Love,
Federica

A bunch of things

Let me just post a few pictures from my last weekend. Me and my boyfriend had relax and went to a live show, ate a lot and went out for a walk.

Mountains in front of my boyfriend's house. They look like clouds.

Friday I had to study for my exams, the next will be general pathology. I have a lot to do and I don't know where to start!

My bf bought me a lovely and delicious vegan organic apricot tart. It was very good! Yum!

I've found this awesome udon from a local ethnic market in my town.

And I've cooked these udon soup with mushrooms, beans, carrots and peas, really goooood!!

In the end I washed my cute underwear and took a picture of them!

That's all guys! Hope you're well and wish you a wonderful tuesday!

Stay happy,
Federica
